After years of working on an assembly line our client suffered a work injury which caused long term impairments to his spine, stomach, head, lower extremities, bladder, nervous system, internal organs, cardiovascular system and more. Our injured worker was deemed by the Court to be 100% permanently disabled. It was even necessary to litigate 24/7 home health care which was won and awarded at the Trial level. Our understanding is the injured worker was able to use the money to buy a house and obtain a caregiver that was desperately needed on an industrially injured and workers’ compensation basis. Applicant obtained a maximum authority settlement figure which allowed the injured worker freedom from the workers’ compensation system for the rest of his life.
