Edward Morgan is a trial lawyer who specializes in representing people involved in personal injury and wrongful death matters. Edward believes developing a strong and trusting relationship with his clients, along with aggressive, persistent and unwavering advocacy on behalf of his clients, are the keys to successful representation and positive results.
Edward, who is known as “Ed” to his friends and clients, began his career as a litigation defense attorney where he successfully defended major corporations and insurance companies. As a defense attorney, Edward practiced at several prestigious defense firms, including one of the nation’s largest litigation firms. Despite his success and opportunity to become a partner at a large defense firm, Ed experienced little satisfaction in defending corporations and insurance companies, whom he felt had slight regard for the “little guy.”
After seven years of defense work, Ed decided to stand up to the insurance companies and the insurance lawyers and fight for the rights of those individuals that are wrongfully harmed. Ed’s motivation and sense of joy comes from delivering justice for his clients and helping his clients during some of the most difficult times in their lives.
Ed has successfully represented clients involving automobile accidents, traumatic brain injuries, and catastrophic injuries. In one of his first cases as a plaintiff’s attorney, Ed recovered $1.65 million for his client that was involved in a serious trip and fall accident. In his first year alone as a plaintiff’s lawyer, Ed fought and recovered more than $3 million for his clients,
Ed received his law degree from Southwestern Law School in 2010, where he was selected to the prestigious trial advocacy team. Ed graduated from the University of California, Davis, with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science.
Ed is licensed to practice in all California state courts, as well as the United States District Court for the Central District of California. Ed is a member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA), American Bar Association, Los Angeles County Bar Association and the Beverly Hills Bar Association.
In 2017 Ed was named as a “Top Attorney” by Pasadena Magazine. In 2018 Ed was named by Super Lawyers Magazine as a “Rising Star”, an honor reserved for only 2.5% of attorneys in Southern California who exhibit excellence in practice. In 2018, Ed was also recognized as a “Top 40 Under 40” lawyer by The National Trial Lawyers.
