Paul Lacayo

Savin & Bursk > Paul Lacayo

Born in San Francisco in 1964, at a young age, he briefly moved with his family to Nicaragua and survived the Managuan Earthquake, and later returned to California, where he became a permanent resident of the San Fernando Valley in 1973.

In 1988, Paul married fellow graduate of St. Genevieve High School in 1988, who he has a son, who has given him in first grandchild in 2016, and his daughter Theresa who currently works as an intern at Savin & Bursk.

Paul’s previous background included being a Spanish Translator, an IRS Auditor and a Department Store Assistant Manager. But has also enjoyed giving back to the community by volunteering in different departments for the Boy Scouts of America, and for Cub Scout Pack, and has worked very closely in different departments and in different roles in the Granada Hills Chamber, and still actively participates during their monthly events.

Paul’s interest in the law field started in 2013, when he began working at our firm as a part-time intern, and was later offered to work full-time as our Granada Hills Receptionist. His love for sharing stories and anecdotes with any client that would walk into the door, made him feel like the right person for the job when an opening became available to learn about Estate Planning, Trust and Probate from Bonnie and Lindsay as a legal secretary.

On a lunch break, or on the weekend, Paul is also known to play the guitar and the mandolin with his two bands, and enjoys rooting for his favorite teams, the Dodgers, Lakers and 49ers!
