Lindsay Lupe Savin, a California native, graduated from University of California, Santa Cruz with a B.A. in Economics and a minor in Politics. Thereafter, she attended California Western School of Law in San Diego, where she earned her Juris Doctorate. Following in the footsteps of her mother, Bonnie Marie Bursk, Lindsay has been focused on Estate Planning, Trust litigation, Conservatorships, Guardianships, Probates, and Elder Abuse law. Lindsay is a member of the San Fernando Valley Estate Planning Council, where she continuously expands her education and stays current with changes in relative legislation.

While Lindsay’s career has been prepped since a young age under the guidance of her mother Bonnie Marie Bursk in the same fields of law, Lindsay’s career at Savin Bursk Law has greatly blossomed over the years, involving cases of complex trust litigation, will contest, and financial elder abuse. Lindsay’s experience in trust litigation has widely opened her eyes and expanded her knowledge on how to proceed with caution when drafting a client’s estate planning documents and how to resolve and prevent family disputes.

Lindsay understands the sensitivity involved in family disputes, as she possesses a strong relationship with all her family members, rooted in her upbringing. Extremely close with all her siblings and father, she also works daily side by side with her mother.

Lindsay is attentive and responsive to clients, detail‑oriented, and focused on facilitating a positive and caring atmosphere in the office. Further, she is energized, enthusiastic, and strives to meet every client’s expectations.

Bonnie Marie Bursk is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Savin Bursk Law. For over 40 years Mrs. Bursk has been guiding families and business owners through Estate Planning and Tax issues. Her practice emphasis on drafting Wills and Trust, and Probate Administration.

Bonnie Marie Bursk is a native Californian. Mrs. Bursk graduated from Cal State University Northridge in 1973 with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a minor in Spanish, and from Southwestern University School of Law in 1976. She is fluent in Spanish. She was an Assistant Inheritance Tax Attorney for the California State Controller, Inheritance and Gift Tax Division from 1977 to 1982, and went on to private practice in September, 1982. In November 1983, Bonnie and her partner George formed the Law Offices of Savin & Bursk.

Bonnie Marie Bursk is a Certified Specialist in Probate, Estate Planning & Trust Law by the California State Bar Board of Legal Specialization. A Certified Specialist is more than just an attorney who specializes in a particular area of law. An attorney must pass a comprehensive examination in estate planning, trust, and probate law administered by the State Bar of California of Legal Specialization; demonstrated a high level of expertise and requisite number of years in the field; fulfilled mandated ongoing educational requirements; and been favorably peer review evaluated by other attorneys and judges.

Mrs. Bursk is a founding member and past President of the Southern California Counsel of Elder Law Attorneys, and a member of the Warner Center Estate Planning Council and San Fernando Valley Estate Planning Council. She has been a speaker with California Continuing Education of the Bar in the areas of Trusts and Estate Planning.

Mrs. Bursk also volunteers as a mediator at the Downtown Los Angeles Stanley Mosk court house and serves as a CAC attorney for conservatorship and guardianship hearings. Through her experience in mediating family disputes in addition to decades of tackling complex trust litigation and will contests, Mrs. Bursk is equipped with the skills and knowledge to resolve sensitive family disputes and will strive for the best possible outcome for her clients.

Mrs. Bursk also volunteers a tremendous amount of time and resources for the community. Mrs. Bursk is a past president of the Granada Hills Chamber of Commerce, past Chairperson of the Government Affairs Committee, and she still participates actively in the Chamber of Commerce. Mrs. Bursk has been active with numerous non-profit endeavors.

Mrs. Bursk is fluent in Spanish and brings decades of sophisticated estate planning strategies to the table. There are only a select handful of Certified Specialist in Probate, Estate Planning & Trust law that are comfortable drafting and explaining these complex legal documents for their Spanish speaking clients without the use of an interpreter.
