In 2010-2011, Evan became Manager of the Firm and a Hearing Representative for Workers’ Compensation Law. In 2017, Evan became an Attorney and stepped into handling his own Workers’ Compensation Law caseload.

In 2018, the firm acquired Malter Law Corporation’s caseload after the untimely demise of Mark Malter. Evan brought the majority of Malter Law Corporation’s staff into the Workers’ Compensation Team and it has flourished.

Along with his own caseload, supporting his father-in-law, George J. Savin Jr. with his caseload, Evan and his team have successfully resolved countless workers’ compensation cases where everyday people have suffered injuries while working.

Mr. Kantz grew up in Placerville, California with an awesome older brother, and the son of an amazing mother and father.

As a young adult, his mother was killed by a friend of hers. Justice was not served in that case. Since then, Evan decided he had to find a profession and field where he could serve justice.

As a native of California, after graduating in the top-tier of his high school class, Evan attended college at California State University, Sacramento where he graduated with his Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice Cum Laude. He particularly enjoys the field of Workers’ Compensation because he gets to help those individuals that suffer a work injury and assist them through the labyrinth that is the California Workers’ Compensation System. It should be plain and simple, a person gets hurt at work doing his or her job, that person should be entitled to the benefits he or she qualifies for that are available in the system. Unfortunately, many times it is a fight and this is where Evan steps into the ring!

Evan’s sole legal focus is Workers’ Compensation Law at Savin Bursk Law. Along with assisting his clients with their initial filings and forcing the insurance companies to accept denied claims, he also handles subfields of Workers’ Compensation where an individual suffered an injury while working for an employer who did not have insurance called Uninsured Employers Benefits Trust Fund (UEBTF) cases as well as Subsequent Injuries Benefit Trust Fund (SIBTF) cases where an injured worker already had a significant disability or impairment at the time of the new work injury and is therefore entitled to additional compensation.

He has and will continue to dedicate his entire career to bringing justice to injured workers and serving the needs of injured and disabled employees through the Greater Los Angeles Area. He has achieved considerable success helping his clients obtain the maximum benefits they are entitled to following a work-related injury or illness. From his efforts, he has recovered tens of millions of dollars in compensation for his clients.
