Adam J. Savin

Adam J. Savin is a litigation and trial attorney at Savin & Bursk and is a co-Founder of the firm’s Encino office which emphasizes on complex and serious injury cases. Growing up Mr. Savin was a competitive gymnast in the all-around division who competed at national and international competitions. He started when he was about 4 years old and by age 13 he was putting in 3-6 hours a day in his training. He was a several-time State and Regional Champion and competed at the National Championships.

What drives Adam is challenge, pushing through obstacles and doing the impossible. Mr. Savin believes that his competitive nature and dedication to accomplishing a goal is an attribute engraved in his DNA since childhood. These attributes follow Mr. Savin in his pursuit of justice for his clients.

Adam’s primary focus is in complex Personal Injury cases with cross-over Workers’ Compensation claims. These cases involve serious injuries that occur on the job but as a result of someone else’s negligence. Common occurrence are trucking/auto accidents, construction zones, and defective products.

Mr. Savin has been privileged to lecture and teach fellow attorneys the nuances in these types of cases. He has lectured on this topic for the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA) annual convention which is the nation’s largest trial lawyer’s convention. Adam has also lectured on this topic for the California Applicants Attorneys Association (CAAA) and he has also been spotted as a guest on numerous podcasts, radio and zoom seminars. Similarly, Mr. Savin has been published in a prominent legal magazine where he discusses these hybrid crossover cases and how to deal with certain aspects of these claims.

Adam has extensive litigation and trial experience in all sorts of automobile accidents, trucking/tractor, motorcycle, boating, construction site accidents, slip and falls, wrongful death, catastrophic injuries including brain injuries, sexual molestation and misconduct, products liability, dog bite cases, medical malpractice, and other injury related claims.

Mr. Savin is a native Californian who grew up in the San Fernando Valley. Adam graduated from Cal State University Northridge with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and from Southwestern University School of Law in the exclusive Scale accelerated program in 2010.

Adam has been selected to the Super Lawyers Rising Stars list every year since 2017, an achievement limited to only 2.5% of attorneys, and in 2021 he was named Super Lawyers “Up and Coming 100.” Adam is also a lifetime member of numerous prestigious organizations including Million Dollar and Multi-Million Dollar Trial Lawyers Association as well as Million Dollar and Multi-Million Dollar Advocate Forum; organizations that are by invite only and limited to attorneys who have won million and multi-million-dollar verdicts and settlements. If you ask Adam about his favorite award he will tell you it is the Above The Policy Lawyers award which honors lawyers who have settled or tried a case where the insurance company paid more money than the maximum insurance policy limit. Mr. Savin has obtained Verdicts and Settlement well above insurance policy limits including some that were over a million dollars in excess of the insurance coverage. Only a very small number of lawyers have accomplished verdicts and settlement above the insurance policy limits and the award recognizes the negotiation, investigation, and superb litigation skills of the lawyer.
