$3,000,000

This tragic case involved an automobile-versus-moped collision that was tried in Los Angeles County in 2017. On September 3, 2012, our client had gotten off of work and was headed home. He was sitting on his moped at a red light at the intersection of 29th Street and Western Avenue in Los Angeles, waiting for the light to change. Defendant negligently failed to see the moped directly in front of him and struck our client. He died immediately at the scene. Savin & Bursk trial attorney Brian J. Kim along with his mentor John Carpenter tried this case and together obtained a $3 million-dollar jury verdict for the surviving family members.
